Raw Kimchi
  • If you make your own, your Kimchi should be fermented in room temperature (60~68F) first. Let is sit in shade/corner of your kitchen for 3 days. If the weather is warm, it takes less than 24 hours to ferment.
  • Refrigerate When your Kimchi starts to form bubbles.
  • Enjoy with meals as a side dish.
  • Raw Kimchi is great topping for taco, hot dogs, noodle salad, pizza...
Cooked Kimchi
  • Raw Kimchi is most potent with vitamins but you can add Kimchi in other food you're cooking.
  • Kimchi goes with almost any starch or meat. You can't go wrong with stir fry.
  • Kimchi makes great soup or stew. Just add other vegetables or meat broth. I like to use Kelp+dry shrimp+anchovy+radish broth.
  • Kimchi soup is a great remedy for cold weather flu.
